EmergeOTA Leadership Course

The Ohio Trucking Association is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 EmergeOTA course, the premier leadership development program designed to prepare the next generation of leaders in the trucking and transportation industry.

This five-session virtual course builds upon OTA’s previous collaboration with The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and incorporates best practices from top business school programs. Participants will gain a comprehensive education in modern business leadership, combining theoretical insights with practical case studies drawn from transportation-related companies.

Key focus areas include strategic planning, business finance, regulatory compliance, personal performance, and organizational leadership.

The program kicks off with an in-person opening session on Wednesday, March 12. 

This session brings all attendees together to foster connections and lay the foundation for a transformative learning journey. Participants will meet their peers, gain a thorough introduction to the course materials, and begin preparing their projects for the remainder of the program.
