About Our Speaker

Michael Guastella is the Director of Public Affairs for Governmental Policy Group, Inc. A Kent State University graduate with a degree in political science and public policy, he has extensive experience in Ohio state government. He has held roles in the Governor’s Office, Ohio Department of Commerce, PUCO, and Ohio EPA, where he served as Deputy Director for Government Affairs. Before joining Governmental Policy Group in 2023, Michael led a private lobbying practice, representing multiple organizations. He is a member of the Ohio Lobbying Association and supports legislative and regulatory matters for the firm’s clients.
