Ohio Trucking Safety Council - July Program

Description

Too much sitting and too little sleep are two of the many challenges that truck drivers face in keeping healthy. Attend the Ohio Trucking Safety Council meeting on July 11 to hear BWC Ergonomic Technical Advisor Dr. Delia Treaster discuss how and why prolonged sitting has become a major health concern. She will also discuss the problems from sleep deprivation or disruption, including the effect on reaction time and judgment. Dr. Treaster will present practical solutions to overcome these challenges.
