Webinar Series: FMCSA Drug Clearinghouse Info Session

Description

Beginning January 6th, 2020, the FMCSA is implementing the commercial drivers license drug and alcohol clearinghouse. Under this program, Medical Review Officers (MRO’s), Substance Abuse Professionals (SAP’s), Carriers and drivers will be required to use the clearinghouse program. This presentation will provide you with information on the clearinghouse requirements and how this program will affect the industry. 

This OTA Institute Webinar is presented in partnership with OTA Member Mike Holke of Safety1st Consulting. 

Presenters Bio: 

Mike Holke has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of the transportation industry with the last 12 being in the field of Risk Management. During this time Mike has held positions as Safety Manager, Director of Risk Management and VP of Risk management for fleets that range between 25 and 300 power units. In the field of Risk Management, Mike has received extensive training in all areas of his field, where he is currently a Certified Director of Safety, a Certified Driver Trainer and certified trainer for the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI). Mike also has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management, holds certificates in human resources management, leadership skills, accident investigation, transportation management, hazardous material regulations, reasonable suspicion training, driver recruiting/retention strategies, FMCSA regulations, safety management, employee engagement, cargo theft prevention, developing effective safety action plans, and lean process improvements including six-sigma, ISO, and root cause analysis. Mike is currently the owner of Safety1st Consulting in which he assists fleet motor carriers in meeting, maintaining and surpassing FMCSA compliance regulations. Safety1st Consulting helps carriers build safety and compliance programs from the ground up and improve organizational performance. Safety1st also helps carriers with safety rating improvements, training programs and provides various programs to help streamline business processes.
