There are some big changes coming soon in the accounting world which can and will impact the transportation industry. This webinar will help attendees better understand the new revenue recognition standard which is already in effect, and the lease standard which will be effective starting in 2021. There are many nuances to the new standards, and careful consideration of how they affect transportation companies will help businesses remain compliant with all reporting requirements.

Bryan Back, CPA 

Bryan Back is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Audit & Assurance Services Group and a member of the firm’s Transportation Services Group. Bryan advises clients on a variety of accounting, financial disclosure, auditing, compliance, risk management, and internal control matters. He provides audit, review, and attestation services to a wide range of businesses and industries, with emphasis in the transportation and distribution industries. 

Stephen Short, CPA 

Stephen Short is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Audit and Assurance Services Group and a member of the firm’s Transportation Services Group. Stephen focuses on providing audit, review, and attestation services to several industries, with experience in real estate and an emphasis in transportation. He supports clients in their auditing, financial reporting, compliance, and internal control needs.
