New for 2024! Join us for a comprehensive Cargo Load Securement Training on Tuesday, October 22 at our headquarters in Westerville. Led by Motor Carrier Enforcement Supervisor Brandon Evans, this training provides a comprehensive overview of proper procedures and protocols for securing cargo on flatbed trucks.
This training will cover all aspects of load/cargo securement including regulatory requirements of 49 CFR Section 392.9 and Part 393, Subpart I, and cover key topics including:
Attendees will receive a Cargo Securement Handbook for Drivers, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Handbook, and supplemental handouts. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided. The price to attend this training is $249 for OTA members and $449 for non-members.

About the Trainer:The training will be led by Motor Carrier Enforcement Supervisor Brandon Evans with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Evans is stationed out of Central Ohio and began his career with the patrol in 2012 as a dispatcher. He was quickly promoted to a Motor Carrier Enforcement Inspector in 2012 and in 2014 was nominated as Inspector of the Year.
