Ohio Trucking Maintenance Council - September Program

Description

Our September 12 meeting will feature Jason Altwies and Roger Maye from Conmet. Conmet has developed sensors that mount in the wheelend that can sense temperature and give advance warning to the driver and company that a wheel end is overheating before a catastrophic failure occurs. This is a product that the industry has been asking for since trucking began. Wheel end failures can be very expensive and, in a wheel-off situation, can be very dangerous to anyone or anything that could be hit by 200 lb wheel barreling down the highway. We encourage you to join us for this informative session!
