Description

The August Ohio Trucking Safety Council meeting will be held on Thursday, August 10. Darrel Koerber, Deputy Director of the Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security, will be the featured speaker. He will cover a variety of topics that pertain to disaster and emergency readiness, such as:

  • Agency Overview
  • Outdoor Warning Siren System/Geographical Zones
  • ALERT Franklin County/FCReady Text Alerts
  • Workplace Preparedness
  • Home/Family Preparedness

About the Speaker:

Darrell Koerber has been the Deputy Director since his arrival in September 2008. In his role as Deputy, he focuses his attention on all those activities inside the facility, overseeing everyday functions related to fiscal, training, resources, operations, and planning; during an emergency when the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is manned, Darrel acts as the EOC Director to ensure the EOC operates effectively and efficiently. Darrel utilizes his military background to enhance his experience in emergency management. He brings extensive experience in training, exercises, real-world crisis situations, and team building.

Our refund policy is as follows:

  • You will receive a 100% refund if you cancel more than 10 days before the event.
  • You will receive a 75% refund if you cancel more than 3 days before the event.
  • You will receive no refund if you cancel less than 3 days before the event.
  • No shows will be responsible to pay 100% of the registration fee.
